Wholesale & Tender Procurement: What Institutional Buyers Should Prepare
Hospitals, distributors and NGOs: the documents, MOQs and timelines involved in bulk pharmaceutical procurement from India — and how to get a formal quotation.
Institutional pharmaceutical procurement is quote-driven, not cart-driven. If you are a hospital, distributor, NGO or government buyer, here is how to make the process fast.
What to include in your RFQ The more complete your request for quotation, the faster and sharper the estimate: product name and strength, dosage form, quantity (with MOQ expectations), destination country, preferred brand or generic, and any documentation requirements.
Documentation you can request Depending on the manufacturer and destination, we can support COA (Certificate of Analysis), MSDS/SDS, GMP/GDP references, Certificate of Origin, Free Sale Certificate, and batch-level documentation. List these in your RFQ so sourcing is matched to suppliers who provide them.
MOQ and pricing logic Minimum order quantities depend on manufacturer policy and pack configuration — they are confirmed per product during quotation. Bulk pricing reflects batch availability, documentation scope and shipping route complexity.
Timelines A complete RFQ typically receives a formal estimate within 24–48 hours. Lead times run from 1 week (in-stock generics) to 4–6 weeks (tender volumes or sourced specialty items).
Tender support For government and institutional tenders we provide proforma invoices, product dossiers where available, and consolidated shipment planning across multiple line items.
Submit your requirements through the Request a Quote page and our procurement team will respond with a formal estimate.
